Start here: To cancel or change a booking, call (877) 273-3899 and then send a confirming email to info@businessclassvault.com.
Do not use live chat, WhatsApp, social media, or a contact form to cancel. Those channels are not monitored continuously, and cancellation deadlines are strict. A missed deadline cannot be undone.
Your cancellation is only effective once we confirm it to you in writing.
| When you cancel | What you get back |
|---|---|
| Same day the ticket was issued, before the daily deadline | Everything. Full amount, no deductions |
| Within 24 hours of ticketing, if you fly in 7+ days | Everything. Full amount, no deductions — but it may take longer to arrive |
| After 24 hours | Depends entirely on your fare rules. Most of our fares are non-refundable. |
| Airline cancels or significantly changes your flight | Full refund of the unused portion, if you do not accept an alternative |
| You do not show up | Nothing. Your remaining flights are cancelled too. |
Each of these is explained below.
If you cancel on the same day your ticket was issued, before the daily deadline, the ticket can be voided. A void reverses the sale completely, as though the ticket had never existed. You get every dollar back with no deduction of any kind. No airline penalty applies.
Airline tickets are settled through fixed daily reporting periods. Once that day's period closes, a ticket can no longer be voided.
If a cancellation deadline matters to you, ask your advisor to confirm it in writing before you pay.
Usually 7 to 10 business days to appear on your card, depending on your bank.
If your ticket was issued at least 7 days before departure, you may cancel within 24 hours of issue and get a full refund of everything you paid. No cancellation fee. No airline penalty. No deduction.
Your cancellation is free either way. What changes is how long the money takes to come back.
| If you cancel | How it is processed | Money back in |
|---|---|---|
| Same day the ticket was issued | As a void | About 7 to 10 business days |
| The next day, still within 24 hours | As a refund through the airline | Usually several weeks |
An example.Your ticket is issued at 3:00 PM on Monday and you cancel at 10:00 AM on Tuesday. You are still inside the 24-hour window, so the cancellation is completely free and you get every dollar back. But the same-day deadline has passed, so it has to go through the airline's refund system instead — which takes longer. Cancelling as early as possible on the day you book is always faster.
Most of the fares we sell are non-refundable. We sell privately negotiated fares — prices airlines make available to licensed consolidators but never publish on public search engines. The reduced price is the trade-off for stricter conditions.
For most of these fares, after the 24-hour window:
The exact rules for your fare are given to you in writing before you pay. If refundability matters to you, tell your advisor before booking — we can often quote a more flexible fare instead.
Some fares do allow changes or cancellation for a fee. Where yours does, these apply:
| Charge | Amount |
|---|---|
| Airline penalty | Set by the airline's fare rules |
| Fare difference | Any increase in price for your new dates or route |
| Business Class Vault administration fee | $250 per ticket, per transaction |
Changes depend on seats being available in the same fare type. A change is not confirmed until we reissue your ticket.
Where a refund is due under your fare rules, we submit the request to the airline. Airlines control refund timing, not us. Processing commonly takes 8 to 12 weeks, and longer with some international airlines.
Once we receive the money from the airline, we send it to your original payment method within 7–14 business days. We will keep you updated, and you can ask us for a status at any time.
These rights are separate from your fare rules and apply even to non-refundable tickets.
If an airline cancels your flight to, from, or within the United States, or makes a significant change to it, and you are not offered — or you decline — a rebooking, credit, or voucher, you are entitled to a full refund of the unused part of your ticket, plus anything you paid for and did not receive.
A "significant change" means:
Refund timing for these: within 7 business days for card payments, and 20 calendar days for other payment methods.
You are never required to accept an alternative. The choice is yours.
If you miss a flight without cancelling first, the airline will normally cancel every remaining flight on your ticket, with no refund. This applies even if you only miss the first leg of a return trip.
Always call us before departure if you cannot travel. Even on a non-refundable ticket, cancelling in advance sometimes preserves options that a no-show destroys completely.
Even where a ticket is completely non-refundable, some government taxes and airport charges can sometimes still be reclaimed. If you would like us to pursue this, contact us. An administration fee of $250 applies. We will tell you the likely recovery amount before you instruct us.
If we fail to provide the travel you paid for, you are entitled to a refund. Where you are not at fault and have not cancelled in breach of terms disclosed to you before purchase, all sums you paid us for services not provided will be refunded promptly.
If something has gone wrong, call us first. Most refund questions are resolved in a single conversation.
Filing a chargeback with your bank for a ticket that was issued as you authorized is a breach of our Terms & Conditions, and it usually makes things slower rather than faster. We keep the call recording, written authorization, and fare rules for every booking, and we will provide them to your bank if a dispute is filed.
Because most of our fares cannot be refunded, travel insurance is often the only way to recover your money if something prevents you from travelling. We strongly recommend cover for cancellation, interruption, medical costs, and airline insolvency, bought at the time you book. No insurance is included in your booking unless you specifically bought it through us.
